‘ If I had only known what crossbeams, skew and treadle were’, Dr Jiggybones thought “I would have never done this.” Dr Jiggybones, was not all too familiar with the English language. Dr Jiggybones only knew the English words love and life.
A century ago his great great grandfather had emigrated to the shores of a small, wet country where they spoke their own guttural language that sounded like gargling. So when Dr Joggybones on his first visit to England had done what he shouldn’t have it had all collapsed right in front of his eyes.
