Horses rescued.

On the third of November of the year 2006, there was a big storm in the Netherlands. As you may know a big part of the Netherlands is below sea level and the country is protected by dikes.
This storm had waves up to 18 meters and only because it was deadtide the country was not flooded.
In the North however, the sea went over the first dike and some 100 horses where trapped on a small island, doomed to drown.
After seeing this on television, a woman who loved horses went there with three of her girlfriends and made an attempt to rescue these horses.

Ik ben geboren in de jaren vijftig, ontdekte wie ik was in de jaren zestig, vond in de jaren zeventig mijn identiteit, gooide die af in de jaren tachtig, overleefde de jaren negentig, vond mijn ware zelf en werd boeddhist in de jaren nul. In de jaren tien begon ik met het organiseren van een vrolijk zwemevenement in de Amstel en haalde ik mijn zwemtrainersdiploma’s. Dat ging door in de jaren twintig. In het jaar dat ik zeventig word ga ik gewoon door. En word ik je lesbische oma.
