Woke up early this Sunday as at 9.05 the white Jaguar of Annemieke came to pick me up to go to Zeist where the SGI has a cultural centre.
The car was packed with ladies.
We had a beautiful drive. The centre was packed. 11 people received their Gohonzon and it was a very festive event. I saw people I hadn’t seen in a while and the atmosphere was filled with love.

Back home I went to Dam Square where the Hare Krishna had their anual festival.Krishna goes out into the streets and shows himself to the people.
Rati sang, people danced and sang.

So we sing and chant, the Buddhists and the Krishna devotees and we are happy.

Ik ben geboren in de jaren vijftig, ontdekte wie ik was in de jaren zestig, vond in de jaren zeventig mijn identiteit, gooide die af in de jaren tachtig, overleefde de jaren negentig, vond mijn ware zelf en werd boeddhist in de jaren nul. In de jaren tien begon ik met het organiseren van een vrolijk zwemevenement in de Amstel en haalde ik mijn zwemtrainersdiploma’s. Dat ging door in de jaren twintig. In het jaar dat ik zeventig word hou ik ermee op.
