>Every morning when I turn on my PC and open my internet browser, mostly after I have done morning gongyo (Nichiren Buddhists recite part of the Lotus Sutra mornings and evenings) I read the words of President Ikeda of the SGI, the lay buddhist organization I am a member of. Mostly these words of wisdom touch me deep and I would like to share them with you, the readers of my blog and I know you are out there somewhere.
So be inspired with these words, may you be happy:
One of my favorite Argentine poets, the great educator Almafuerte (1854-1917) wrote: “To the weak, difficulty is a closed door. To the strong, however, it is a door waiting to be opened.” Difficulties impede the progress of those who are weak. For the strong, however, they are an opportunity to open wide the doors to a bright future. Everything is determined by our attitude, by our resolve. Our heart is what matters most.
