DIFFERENT MOODS AND DIFFERENT FACES IN THE SAME ME 52 YEARS OLD
+++
October 29, 2006. I am in the plane on the way to Korea, it is about 20.00 hrs, 8 PM +1 GMT, I am nervous and tense and excited.

The Koreans know Netherland well, Football(soccer) Coach Guus Hiddink, a Netherlander, succeeded in having the Korean Team get up to Quarter Final, so in the middle of Seoul, they built an imitation Dutch town. Beau took a shot of me on the third day at about 8 PM +9 GWT.

On the way back home after 10 intense days with my dear friend and her son, who did five concerts in four days in three Korean cities to a responsive audience. Their favorite song was The Saddest Thing.

THE SADDEST THING
© Melanie Safka, Carlin Music
And the saddest thing
Under the sun above
Is to say goodbye
To the ones you love

All the things
That I have known
Became my life
My very own
But before you know
You say goodbye
All the time goodbye
It’s time to cry
But I will not weep
Nor make a scene
Just say thank you life
For having been.

And the loudest cry
Under the sun above
Is the silent goodbye
From the ones you love.

But I will not weep
Nor make a scene
I just say thank you life
For having been.

And the saddest thing
Under the sun above
Is to say goodbye
To the ones you love
